The website we will develop will be based on our latest recruitment system which will be available from January 2006.

The new system builds on the success of our eciRecruit product with the addition of new functional elements, improved security and greater flexibility in terms of design and configuration.

The new system also features reworked processes that have been devised based upon processes planned and tested in real world scenarios. We worked with our recruitment partners for several months to ensure the system is extremely simple and intuitive to use. We have worked hard at speeding up many everyday tasks to assist you in improving the productivity of your consultants.

The key functionality which will be available includes:

• Automated candidate registration
  Candidates can register themselves and upload their CV with no interaction with your consultants required. The system includes automated ‘forgotten username’ and ‘forgotten password’ mechanics. Candidate’s address details are verified using integration with the Post Office’s PAF.

• Consultant management tools
  Set-up logins for each of your consultants allowing them to manage their own candidates and vacancies and allowing admin users to monitor their actions. Privileges can be assigned to each consultant stipulating what functionality is available to them.

• Vacancy management tools
  Add, edit and delete vacancies from your website in minutes with no programming knowledge. View statistics showing how many candidates have accessed your job postings. Schedule job postings to go live on the date of your choice. Temporarily suspend vacancies whilst applications are processed.

• Application / Candidate management system
  Receive applications straight to your e-mail inbox, respond to applications in seconds with customisable automated standard replies. Add and share candidate notes between consultants. Import applications from external sources allowing you to manage all applications from one location.

• Advanced job search
  Candidates can search the vacancies on your website quickly. The system includes postcode and address search tools allowing candidates to search for vacancies within x miles of their desired location.

• Automated job alerts to candidates
  E-mails are automatically sent to your candidates alerting them to new vacancies added to your website that match their specified criteria. Alerts are sent in both HTML and plain text format.

• Candidate search facility
  Search through your candidates using a powerful search mechanism that allows you to search by skills, job titles, location, salary expectations and keywords.

• Automated candidate alerts
  E-mails are automatically sent to your consultants alerting them to new candidates with skills that match their specified criteria.

• RSS job feeds
  Set-up XML job feeds allowing your vacancies to be sent to candidates’ desktops. This section includes help documentation assisting users wishing to utilise this up and coming technology.

 

Additional Information

Design work – We include 16 hours design work as part of the package in which time we work with you to prepare an eye catching modern design that reflects the image you wish to portray.

If you have requirements which exceed the time we have allocated you are able to extend this time.

Please note - Additional design work is chargeable at £50 per hour. Stock photography is chargeable at cost price.

SEO / Linking – The recruitment system we will provide has been designed to be compliant with the guidelines set down by the major search engine companies. This ensures that the website will not be penalized by the search engines for employing ‘dirty tricks’ and aid search engine placement. We recommend adding your website to our network of websites (at no cost) which will aid the process of achieving a high Google page rank.

Accessibility – In accordance with the latest government regulations we have developed the system to be accessible to users using screen readers.

General – The system we are proposing is a fully supported long term solution. We aim to build strong relationships with our clients based on excellent service and by developing new ‘bolt-on’ functionality that will allow their recruitment website to remain at the cutting edge of Internet technology.

Pricing

The investment required for the complete system as outlined above would be £4600.

There is an ongoing cost associated with use of the Post Office’s address finder software which is based on the number of candidates registering on the website. If you were registering 1000 candidates per month you could expect a cost of approximately £100 per month associated with this feature.

I would recommend hosting the website on one of our dedicated servers which are managed by Rackspace (http://www.rackspace.com) one of the worlds leading hosting companies. The cost of this would be approximately £300 per annum which includes your e-mail addresses, the databases required for the website, weekly data backup and a hardware firewall to protect the server from unauthorised access.
